Beau’s tap dancing journey began in 2010. His constant high energy and tapping feet – wherever he went – was a sign to his parents, who enrolled him with Infinite Dance Studios as a tap student in 2011. His love of tap was fostered through the excellent teachers he was fortunate to have and Infinite Dance Studios gave him the opportunity to enter eisteddfods in troupes, duos and solos with much success.
Beau’s technical skills were enhanced through the Glenn Wood syllabus, with Beau achieving a perfect score of 100% in his Level 10 Exam. In addition to this, his rhythmic style developed through a variety of instruction: ranging from Street to Broadway.
Beau loves to perform and bring awareness to charities: giving his time to Step Up! For Down Syndrome and Cure Cystic Fibrosis Geelong over multiple years, as well as Pako Festa and Carols By Candlelight Geelong. Tap opened the doors for Beau to experience Theatre, being part of the ensemble for 42nd Street, Mamma Mia and the role of Pepe in West Side Story. His ultimate dream is to join the Tap Dogs.
Beau is excited to be a part of the faculty at IDS – a place he calls his second home. He hopes to encourage his students to love tap, develop high skills and make the Studio their “happy place”, just like he has.
