Lochlan is a graduate from the Musical Theatre course at Kelly Aykers Full Time Dance and also Marko Panzic’s The Dream Dance Companies: Show/Business. Before this Lochlan trained as a dancer under the direction of various choreographers across Victoria, and gained experience in Music Theatre with the GSODA Junior Players through most of his childhood.
2018/2019 found Lochlan at sea as a Production cast Dancer and Dance Instructor with Celebrity Cruise Lines. Previous to this he danced at the ICC Cricket World Cup (Beside X Factors, Nathaniel Willemse), YouTube Fanfest/Brandcast (Sydney, Australia), and had featured roles in Masters of Choreography’s “Once Upon a Time, Chapter 2” and “A Nightmare on Dance Street, 2”.
Under the direction of Kelly Aykers (Director/Choreographer) and Stephan Gray (Musical Director) Lochlan was involved in their production of Pippin, where he was fortunate enough to play the title role Pippin, and then involved in their production of Chicago.
Lochlan was part of Footlight Productions Disney’s Mary Poppins (the role of Neleus) and Wicked(the role of Chistery). Back in 2014 Lochlan had his first named role in a musical with the GSODA Junior Players in their production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (the role of Lumiere).
Lochlan continued his journey with GSODA as choreographer on their production of Disney’s High School Musical: On Stage and various showcase productions. Lochlan has been the choreographer for Footlight Productions Wicked, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Mamma Mia where has worked closely with the director, Alister Smith.
Lochlan has been thrilled to not only be creating but also sharing his knowledge and experience in dance and performance across dance schools in Geelong and the Melbourne area for a number of years now.
